Acne
Acne is a disorder of the skin marked by papules, comedones or cysts. Increased sebaceous activity or inflammation are often present as well.
A growing number of adults suffer from acne. Clogged hair follicles that result in oil secretion (sebum) and P. Acne Bacteria are the main culprit, but breakouts can also result from hormonal factors like stress, genetics, and certain medications (birth control, androgens, lithium, and barbiturates). Outside sources that disturb the skin's delicate balance can also contribute to flare-ups.
